Leigh Griffiths was not named in Celtic’s squad this afternoon as rumours concerning his future a Celtic began to circulate.
Peter Martin of PLZ Soccer claimed he had been told that the hoops were interested in Kevin Nisbet, and would offer Leigh Griffiths plus cash to persuade the Edinburgh club to sell last seasons top goal scorer.
Before Saturday afternoon’s match, Ange Postecoglou didn’t give much away on Celtic’s stance surrounding the potential addition to his squad, as quoted by RecordSport;
“I ain’t quashing, or denying or confirming, y’know.”
