STEPHEN WELSH went off injured for Scotland under 21s on Tuesday evening prompting worry Celtic could be another defender down for the semi-final against St Johnstone on Saturday night.
The Hoops lost Carl Starfelt to injury before the international break and Christopher Jullien is still making his way back from injury.
Stephen has started the last couple of games for Celtic and done well with his chance to get back in the first team
Ange revealed Carl Starfelt should be ready to go after the international break, but we’re not sure if that means straight away.
One promising sign from Celtic’s point of view is Stephen appeared to look in ok shape at full time. The Celtic star walked over, unencumbered, to give his Scotland jersey to a fan.
