Poll – These Celtic Fans Send Clear Message to Club After GB Ban

It emerged on Monday evening the Green Brigade would be locked out of the Rennes game after the club sent out a statement. Celtic believe the actions by some fans continue to put the safety of the supporters at risk and have taken extreme action.

Celtic will have another charge to face by UEFA in December for fans use of pyro in the Stadio Olimpico during Celtic’s famous 2-1 win over the Italian side.

Celtic’s timing of the announcement stinks so close to the Rennes game. Considering this new charge would’ve been on the horizon for some time.

We put it out to the supporters on our Facebook feed where we have had a response of around 9k so far. Were Celtic right to take the action they did?

So far, a whopping 66% of the votes are with the Green Brigade.

The problem is the lack of communication between each side. We also have no idea what illicit banners and chanting the club was charged and punished for by UEFA during the home game against Lazio.

There’s every chance Celtic have done this because UEFA were set to do something more extreme if we continued to do nothing as a club. There’s two sides to this, of course, it’s time to get around a table.
