A sports reporter in Poland has claimed Celtic’s move for Legia Warsaw and Croatia Right back Josip Juranovic has ended.
The Hoops were reportedly in talks with Legia Warsaw over the right back who played for Croatia in Euro 2020. However, Yan Couto attending Celtic’s game against Jablonec on Thursday night points to the Hoops taking the 19-year-old Brazilian on loan from Manchester City this season instead.
Według mojej wiedzy, na teraz temat transferu Josipa Juranovicia do Celticu Glasgow wygasł. Szkoci mają inne opcje.

Translated: ‘As far as I know, the transfer of Josip Juranovic to Celtic Glasgow has now expired. Scots have other options.’
Celtic need competition at right back. It looks like they’re going for a temporary season long loan over a permanent deal.
Juranovic would have been a good addition to the squad. He’s 25 with some great experience and his best years ahead of him.
Couto is young, with bags of potential, but will he be able to make a mark in a season where Celtic are in huge transition. The deal for Couto is yet to be confirmed, and until it is, we will be keeping a close eye on any right back target.
