Celtic look set to sign two new players this week!
Aaron Mooy has undergone his Celtic medical with a deal for the Australian well down the line. The free agent is set to reunite with Ange Postecoglou and pull on the famous hoops.
While we await Celtic’s announcement on Aaron, the bhoys are deep in talks with Lorient and Moritz Jenz over a season long loan deal.
The 23-year-old defender was high on Celtic’s scouting list last season but Lorient got to the front of the queue and signed the centre-back.
There’s now an opportunity to bring in Jenz this season and the club have jumped at the chance to finally get their man.
Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph has now confirmed the players agents are due in Glasgow today to continue discussions over the season long loan move.
Joseph also writes there will likely be an option to buy at the end of the season if Moritz impresses.
Ange has been looking for another defender. He doesn’t see a future at the club for Christopher Jullien and will now look to expedite the player’s move away from the club in Moritz comes in.
