Player Swap Deal Discussed

Hibs are reportedly ‘keen on’ bringing Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths back to Easter Road this summer.

As reported by Edinburgh Live, the Hibernian boss, Jack Ross, believes that he could get the best out of Griffiths once again, whilst the Leith side is also aware of the Hoops supposed interest in Kevin Nisbet.

There has been much speculation around the contract situation of the 30-year old in the past few weeks, with some suggestions that he could be released this summer.

However, with the club’s interest in Nisbet, it will be interesting to see if we decide to use Griffiths in a sort of trade with Hibernian in the interest of both parties in an attempt to strike up a deal.

Griffiths had a poor campaign last season, riddled with injuries and left some fans questioning whether his future remains at Celtic Park.

If there is one club in Scotland that he would probably want to move to, it is his boyhood heroes.
