The Celtic team is out and it only has TWO changes from Thursday’s win against Lille.
Neil Lennon has kept his midfield duo in the starting XI; Soro and Turnbull will start against Kilmarnock with the two changes being Greg Taylor in for Deigo Laxalt and Edouard in for Klimala.
Conor Hazard keeps his place in goals, and for me, it looks as if Vasilis Barkas could be done at the club.
Hazard did ok on his first team debut but has yet to prove his worth to the team. Scott Bain and Vasilis Barkas have both had their chance and not looked up to scratch. If this shows anything, it’s time for another new goalkeeper in January. Barkas looks done at the club.
Celtic are 16 points behind at the moment before this game kicks off with their title rivals winning 2-1 away to Dundee Utd this afternoon.
It’s going to be very difficult for the club to make up the difference, even with the games in hand.
Hopefully a win today will give us a much needed SPFL boost and set us up for a better December.
We’re surprised young Ewan Henderson didn’t make the bench.
CELTIC: Hazard, Jullien, Taylor, Duffy, Soro, Turnbull, Edouard, Elyounoussi, Frimpong, Ajer, McGregor.
