Pivotal Morning for Celtic’s Title Hopes

It might seem a little melodramatic, but Tuesday morning is massive in the context of the next run of games that will most definitely define our season.

Kyogo has quickly become our talisman – the man from Japan came in and hit the ground running before being halted by an injury playing for his country over a month ago. The striker only started his first SPFL game in a month nine days ago and got among the goals to make sure of a Celtic win.

In his absence, we’ve struggled to break down teams and it’s imperative we get the wee man back in one piece.

There’s one more obstacle this morning before we can breathe a sigh of relief – Australia vs Japan.

Tom Rogic will be on the other side of the pitch from his Celtic teammate but let’s hope neither pick up an injury.

The two countries go head to head with a lot of noise coming from Japan about the misuse of Kyogo on the wing instead of up front to this point.

If he starts, we can only hope Kyogo manages to see the game through without incident.

All going well after today – Celtic can really get going with returns and first team players on their way back.

The game between Australia and Japan kicks off at 11:15am.
