It didn’t seem likely for the majority, but Celtic eventually won against St. Johnstone on Sunday. The Hoops’ first-half performance left Brendan Rodgers incensed, but they came back and ran out 3-1 victors in reaction.
Captain Callum McGregor drew his team level before James Forrest secured the points late on. The strike that got Celtic in front, though, was particularly impressive.

It came from Matt O’Riley, and it was a goal-of-the-season contender. The 23-year-old rattled the ball into the top corner, leaving fans in raptures and equal awe.
Also with a positive reaction to the goal was a St. Johnstone steward. As seen in the below image, he seemed rather delighted when O’Riley was celebrating:

The steward’s reaction mirrors that of many Celtic supporters and thanks to O’Riley’s strike, a crucial victory and resultant three points were secured in Perth. Going forward, Hibernian lie in wait on Wednesday. We will be keeping a close eye on the security staff then.
