MANCHESTER UTD Legend Peter Schmeichel has praised the Celtic support in a post on social media after the Copenhagen police did the same.

Celtic fans have been in the city all week having fun as they travelled to see their side take on Copenhagen on Thursday night. As usual, the bhoys and ghirls over there were brilliant with their behaviour impeccable.

It’s great to see the police, the club and now Peter acknowledge the great behaviour of Celtic fans. In this day and age you see a lot of horrible football fans on away days acting like morons so it’s good to see supporters getting praise for not making headlines.

Celtic fans watched their side play out a 1-1 draw with Copenhagen and will now head back home hoping the bhoys can finish the job in Glasgow. It’s certainly in our own hands!
