It is being reported that Peter Lawwell addressed all 41 members of the SPFL with a ‘rousing speech’ at today’s EGM ahead of the vote for an inquiry.

Celtic have kept their cards close to their chest but Peter Lawwell made himself heard on the video call, although the content of what he said is not out in the public domain as of yet.

The bhoys have been preparing for a return to football if at all possible going forward.

There has been very little word from the club about the recent spats and accusations flying around Scottish football.

The votes have now been cast and we’re waiting to see if the SPFL will back the inquiry in the coming hours.

The financial viability of the leagues and member clubs has to be the prevailing focus at the end of this. There was never going to be a universal acceptance or answer to the current problems with ending the season. Clubs who have been disadvantaged the most are upset and The Rangers seem to be upset for reasons we’re not quite sure.
