The Price of football account is claiming the figures for Celtic’s Peter Lawwell’s wage packet reached £3.55m in the 18/19 season with most of the money coming from bonuses on top of his wages.
The chief executive runs the club from top to bottom and is already on a massive wage to ensure the day to day operations and growth of the football club.
The figure below doesn’t take into account if any of these bonuses have been deferred which is highly likely but it’s safe to say he’s the most well paid chief executive in the league and even better than some down south.

Peter Lawwell gets a lot of flak but he makes difficult decisions on a daily basis – however, you won’t hear many people defending that sort of money falling into his bank account at the expense of money going elsewhere.
Bonuses would likely come from how well the team has done and how healthy the balance sheet looks – probably more of the matters
