A late Adam Idah strike separated Celtic and their city rivals Rangers in Saturday’s Scottish Cup final. The season couldn’t have ended more dramatically as the Hoops sealed a domestic double.
Now on par with the Gers in terms of number of trophies won, the Ibrox club can no longer boast that they are the ‘most successful team in football’.
Standards have well and truly dropped in Govan and this season, they failed to even go ahead against Celtic in a game never mind beat them.

In comparison to their rivals, Rangers’ campaign has been yet another car crash, but Peter Grant did praise their manager for how he carried himself post-match at the weekend.
Indeed, as the Bhoys lifted the Scottish Cup in the Hampden stands for the 42nd time, Philippe Clement stood below in the dugout and watched on.
Grant said (Celtic FC on YouTube): “To be fair to Clement and that [his coaching staff], they’ve stayed out, they’ve not went up [the tunnel].
They’ve shown respect and you’ve got to give them credit for that because that cannot be easy because it wouldn’t be me, that’s for sure.”
Although the Belgian stayed out on the touchline, his players were nowhere to be seen.
James Tavernier and Co. disappeared into the dressing room as soon as they received their runners-up medals, showing their sheer lack of respect, character, and humility.
Kudos to Clement for once, but the same cannot be said towards his men.
