NEIL LENNON spoke to Jim White and Simon Jordan on TalkSport Radio on Tuesday morning. The former Celtic manager was in the makeshift studio in the Raddison blue in Glasgow City centre.
The Irishman continues his media drive to absolve himself of what went wrong at Celtic.
Jim White and Simon Jordan were there to stroke the former Hoops boss and his ego at times. Not challenging any assertions and Simon Jordan in-particular backed up Neil Lennon and the rough ride he got at Celtic the second time around.
Jim White branded Lennon ‘fearless’ during the chat and declared Neil loves a challenge.
The response from the former Celtic manager was in keeping with the tone he has set since leaving the club.
“I do like a challenge and I do say what I feel, some times people don’t like the truth – but I’ll say it anyway.
“People want explanations but they turn it into ‘oh he’s making excuses’, but I will say what I think and say what I see.
“I’m not worried about if it offends people, my conscience will be clear on that.”
Neil Lennon has hired a media company to help change his image so he can go down south and get a job. He’s trying to big up his reputation while tarnishing his Celtic rep.
The former gaffer believes because he says things people don’t like it somehow makes it an honest appraisal and the truth. That’s not how it works Neil, sometimes you can say things people don’t like and the crux of their position is what’s been said is utterly untrue.
Lennon had a lot to deal with in his final year but he’s as much to blame as anything for the downfall of Celtic during the 20/21 term. The lack of acceptance that he had a big part to play has rightly upset a lot of Celtic fans.
