Celtic fans travelled to Tannadice on Sunday morning full of festive spirit but were left slightly disheartened at full time as their team played out a far from thrilling goalless draw with Dundee United.
The Hoops struggled to find their groove in the city of discovery, registering just three shots on target throughout the 90.
It was a lacklustre display from Brendan Rodgers’ men, who, amidst high winds, struggled to break down a stubborn United backline.

The Celtic squad was ravaged by injury and illness, with Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty, Alistair Johnston, Nicolas Kuhn, and James Forrest missing. Said absences forced Rodgers into five changes from last weekend’s Premier Sports Cup final.
Despite also making numerous alterations within the game and bringing on the likes of Luis Palma, Arne Engels, Paulo Bernardo, and Adam Idah, the Bhoys couldn’t find a breakthrough.
Supporters were left disappointed at the full-time whistle, and Bernardo, who was introduced with 12 to play, understood such frustrations.
He took to Instagram yesterday evening, admitting the result was far from what the Celtic players wanted:

Next up for the Parkhead side is a home clash against Motherwell on Boxing Day. Getting back on track against the Steelmen is critical as the gruelling festive fixture run continues.
