Celtic are gearing up for one of their biggest challenges of the season as they host an in-form Aberdeen side at Celtic Park on Saturday at 3 pm.

Jimmy Thelin’s Dons have been nothing short of remarkable since his arrival, winning every single one of their 13 games this season.
With no draws and no defeats, Aberdeen pose a significant threat, and the Hoops are well aware of the challenge ahead.
Celtic will be keen to protect their own unbeaten record and secure a crucial three points. With only goal difference separating the teams at the top of the table, this match could be a big one when reflected on at the end of the season.
Midfielder Paulo Bernardo, speaking ahead of the match, acknowledged Aberdeen’s outstanding run but reaffirmed Celtic’s determination to halt their momentum.
“It will be a difficult game, I think,” Bernardo said to the Herald.
“They are playing very well. But we are a big club and the big clubs have to win.
“In these type of games, against the second placed team, they are really important for us as a team to step up in this championship this year. Because last season is over, it’s over. So, we need to do it again this year.
“I think it will be a great game. They are doing very well this year, and it will be great to play in and to watch.
“Now it’s Aberdeen and then it’s the Champions League match. So, we are focused on [them] and then we move on.”
Celtic will hope to carry momentum into their European campaign, but first, they must overcome one of the best Aberdeen sides in recent years. All eyes will be on this top-of-the-table clash as both teams look to make a statement in the Premiership title race.
Next, Celtic fly to Italy to face Europa League winners Atalanta. After defeat in Dortmund, the Hoops will be looking to get back to their winning ways, but it’ll be no easy game for Rodgers’ side.
