Patryk Klimala today signed off as a Celtic player by thanking the club and the support for his time at the club – he even signed the message as ‘Polish Paddy’.
The forward made his much-anticipated move to New York Red Bulls on Thursday after Celtic accepted a bid for the frontman.
Having not had the game time at Celtic, Paddy has fancied his chances heading to the MLS and leading the line for the New York side.

During his time at Celtic, Klimala clearly put the work in and upped his physical stature in order to make the breakthrough.
This season has been an absolute write off for the club and many of the players. Strikers have been chopped and changed and chances of a sustained run in the side have never been on the table.
We wish Patryk all the best in New York.
For Celtic, they can use his transfer fee to boost the coffers for their rebuild which should be underway as we speak, but with the club on radio silence mode, we just don’t know how far we’re down the road.
