PATRICK ROBERTS has said his goodbyes to the Girona fans after his season long loan came to an end with no permanent deal in sight.

The Englishman surprised many people last summer when he took up another loan deal away from England after he appeared to suggest he wanted a crack at the Premier League.

He now heads back to Manchester City with just one year left on his Etihad deal and now has a big career decision to make.

Celtic fans would love to see Paddy come back to Celtic on a permanent basis for next season but there’s no sign at the moment or any hints at a Parkhead return.

Will next season be his opportunity to play in the Premier League? Or could Celtic tempt him back up north for ten in a row?
