PATRICK ROBERTS has gave the low down on what he thinks will be different from his loan spell at Celtic when he pulls on his boots for Norwich this season.
The midfielder has been gone from Celtic Park for over a year now and has since had a disappointing spell at Girona but managed to land a new deal with Manchester City.
Straight Paddy signed a new deal with the Premier League Champions, he was sent out on loan to the newly promoted Norwich. It has been Roberts dream to become a Premier league star and while he’s been under contract with City for a long time he’s never made an appearance.
Asked what would be the main difference between playing for Norwich, the Englishman noted you always have to be on the front foot with Celtic and at Carrow Road you have to be patient and wait for the counter.
“Up there it’s a bit different, obviously there are teams who will sit back and you have more attacking, so you can get frustrated when you can’t score. But here you have to be patient and not rush it, not be naïve or daft, wait for your time on the counter-attacks, carry on playing the way Norwich did all last season, carry that through.” Roberts told the Eastern Daily Press.
