Former Celtic and Ireland goalkeeper Pat Bonner revealed why he believes the Hoops were able to draw against Dundee United this afternoon.
Bonner said: (BBC Sport), “Celtic have worked hard early in the season to afford a day like this.”
The Hoops are currently 9 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership ahead of Rangers, after 16 games played, with just two draws in that time and no defeats.

A draw against Jim Goodwin’s side was a poor result, however, over the previous 15 games in the Premiership, Celtic were pretty much spot on.
This means that today’s game likely won’t be highlighted come the end of the season.
With a number of regular starters like Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alistair Johnston, and Nicolas Kuhn all missing the game, three of Celtic’s best players so far this season, it was always going to be an uphill battle to emerge with all three points come the final whistle.
However, with the January transfer window just around the corner, Brendan Rodgers will likely look to add a couple of players to bring that extra bit of quality in attacking areas, which was sorely missing this afternoon.
