The fixture, scheduled for Sunday, September 21 at 3.30pm, will see Hoops fans housed in the Jackie Husband Stand after a week-long fan consultation conducted by The Jags Foundation.
Supporters of the Glasgow Championship side were given two options for ticket allocations and 61.4% opted to give Celtic the larger allocation in order to preserve a stronger home atmosphere across the remaining stands.
Celtic’s allocation could have been limited to 2,000 in the Colin Weir Stand, but Thistle fans voted instead to give the visitors around 5,900 tickets, while retaining approximately 3,950 for themselves across the Colin Weir and John Lambie Stands.

The club say they are committed to honouring the outcome of the consultation and are working to facilitate the change as quickly as possible, with tickets expected to go on sale next week. They’ve also committed to additional safeguards to prevent away fans from purchasing in home areas, while discussions are ongoing with the Disabled Supporters’ Association regarding suitable access in the Jackie Husband Stand.
Celtic will communicate their ticketing information to fans over the coming weeks, but it’s positive news coming out of Maryhill.
