Partick Thistle Squad Snub Could Spell the End for Celtic Star

We are just hours away from Celtic’s quarter-final tie against Partick Thistle in the League Cup and we’re going to find out sooner rather than later where the land lies with certain players.

Neil Lennon wants to make changes but not so many he jeopardises Celtic’s fourth consecutive defence of the trophy.

Craig Gordon is in from the start – we know that. But who else is going to join the fray and will there be a recall for Scott Sinclair after over a month on the sidelines?

Sinclair was training ahead of the tie yesterday at Lennoxtown and there seems to be no issue with his fitness. He hasn’t been included in a match-day squad since Motherwell away last month – even then it was a cameo appearance from the bench.

In Sinclair’s absence the Celtic team have been doing well but it doesn’t hurt to have someone of Scott’s skill and experience in the squad, especially against Thistle this evening. Another squad snub could be the final nail in the coffin for the treble treble winner.

We hope this isn’t the case. The squad will be out in around an hours time.
