BRENDAN RODGERS confirmed that Scott Sinclair will not make it back in time for this Friday’s SPFL league tie with Partick thistle.
However, the Irishman was confident that Scott will be back in the fold as early as next week after suffering an injury against Barcelona in November.
Scott has been a revelation since signing from Aston Villa in the summer and has heavily contributed to Celtic’s onfield success.
It will be imperative for Rodgers to get the Englishman fit and ready to go as the fixtures come thick and fast. With James Forrest a doubt for Thistle also now, it looks likely that GMS will get the nod to join the attack,
