Parent Club Drop Asking Price For Celtic Loan Bhoy

AC Milan has reportedly dropped the asking price as they look to offload former Celtic loanee Diego Laxalt this summer.

As reported by the Daily Record, the Serie A giants have supposedly slashed their original asking price to £4 million as clubs look to take the Uruguayan off their hands.

Sides such as Besiktas, Dynamo Moscow and Dynamo Kiev are all interested in bringing him to their club. It is extremely doubtful he will feature for Milan and probably even more unlikely to see Laxalt back in Glasgow as a Celtic player.

The full-back got off to a decent enough start to life at the Hoops from a personal perspective. Putting in several good performances, with the game away to Lille standing out in particular.

After that period, though, Laxalt struggled to create any run of form and, in the end, played second fiddle to Greg Taylor in that position.

We wish him all the best in whatever move he decides to take next but ultimately didn’t impress in what was a poor season all-round at the club.
