Paddy Roberts is back in the Girona squad for today’s clash in the Spanish capital. The ex-Celtic loan star could be about to grace one of the most iconic stadiums in world football.
Roberts is playing in conditions that are the complete opposite of his experience in Glasgow. We are not talking about the weather here either. Celtic will play Kilmarnock today at Rugby Park known a win will all but secure their eighth league title in a row. Girona are just one point away from the La Liga drop zone.
Madrid who didn’t have the best of starts to their league campaign have dragged themselves up the table and are now battling their neighbours for second spot. Barca like Celtic look to have the league title in their hands.

Paddy has also had to deal with not getting as much game time. Injuries have hampered the skilful winger’s progress once again. The Englishman has only managed 12 games in Spain, he is yet to score and has one assist with his name on it.
The Bernabeu is a half decent stadium but we bet Roberts secretly wishes he was at Rugby Park this afternoon.
