Over to You Leigh

Leigh Griffiths may not have said anything on his Instagram page today but posting a picture of him playing in the previous round suggests he’s getting ready to lead the line for Celtic in Norway.

With Moussa Dembele out till Septemeber, it will be up to Leigh, who has been carrying a slight knock to pick up the pieces and help fire Celtic to the playoff round of the Champions League.

The striker was banned for the home tie after tying a scarf to a goalpost in the North of Ireland earlier this month but will now carry the weight of Celtic fans expectations on his shoulders as the team look to get a result away in Europe.

There will be other players to pick up the slack hopefully, but all eyes will be on the Scottish striker.

When Leigh is in the mood he can do considerable damage, just ask the England team who had to rescue a draw at Hampden last month.

Celtic need to score in Norway to have any chance of going through to the playoff round of the Champions League. A lot of pessimistic fans are worried about Celtic’s away record, but they are more than capable of a score draw if the players up their game from the first leg.
