Michael has been covering Celtic and Scottish football since 2023. He previously wrote about Celtic for The Celtic Exchange, Celtic Underground, 67 Hail Hail and GRV Media before joining CeltsAreHere in 2024 as a Matchday Writer. He later moved into a full-time News Writer role, covering breaking news, transfer updates, press conferences, match reaction, player profiles and key issues around the club.
Michael has a BA Hons in Multimedia Journalism from Glasgow Caledonian University and brings that background into his work across written articles, social media and digital content. At CeltsAreHere, he writes short-form news pieces, reports on pre and post-match press conferences, supports matchday social media coverage and creates graphics for Facebook and Instagram using Canva.

A lifelong Celtic supporter, Michael’s favourite Celtic player is Callum McGregor. His favourite Celtic memory is watching Brendan Rodgers’ side complete the Invincible Treble at Hampden against Aberdeen in 2017.
