John Kennedy failed his Celtic job interview if he was even being considered at all.
Celtic didn’t lose the game but anybody watching the Glasgow Derby today would have seen a Gers team there for the taking.
The management of the game in the second half and substitutions made should be enough for Kennedy to not get the job next term.
The manager could go on a great Scottish Cup run and win the thing and I’d be delighted for John and the team but it would still not convince me he’s the man for the job.
He’s too indoctrinated into this side he can’t offer any new ideas or make brave decisions. John has made the team more patient and making better quality chances in a short period but it’s not enough.
The interim manager of Celtic FC should look to move on and cut ties with the club this summer and go out on his own as a manager elsewhere. If John can prove his credentials elsewhere, the job will be here for him one day.
