We were all waiting on the statement and they’ve not disappointed. Tonight we get the petulant aftermath from The Rangers on the SPFL proposal going through.
They wanted clubs to get their money, they wanted Scottish football to pull together — this is now what’s happening but they’re not satisfied?
One has to wonder why.
A club using a global pandemic to try and deny a title to their bitter rivals is very much all that’s on the table here.
They are threatening legal action but for who and what? Clubs who have been relegated as a result of the proposal will not be taking legal action — The Rangers will be getting their well deserved second-placed bounty — where is the damages?
What we have here is more grandstanding, playing to the galleries. They can’t be seen to roll over and allow Celtic to be crowned champions although their team already effectively did this.
Legal action would be amusing. They’ve hyped up the unhinges in their support to make-believe an injustice has taken place. That should stand them in good stead when they need their season ticket money.
I love the symbolism of so many of these bears who supported Brexit now not respecting the will of the people when it comes to the SPFL vote.
Victim FC.
