It surely has to be the end of the road for Luis Palma at Celtic after a lacklustre display against Dundee United this afternoon.
The Hoops faltered at Tannadice, dropping league points for only the second time this season.

It was a disappointing display from the team as a whole, but Palma’s cameo was of particular concern. He replaced the uninspired Yang Hyun-jun with half an hour to go and failed to set the heather alight.
Constantly looking to cut inside, you could count on one hand the number of times the Honduran played the ball forward or even across goal. He continually received it on the left-hand side in the closing stages but simply did nothing with it.
Fans watching Palma both at home and from the stands today were understandably frustrated, and if it weren’t for injuries to Nicolas Kuhn and James Forrest, today would likely have been the last time we saw the 24-year-old take to the field in green and white.
Instead, given current unavailabilities, he might still be needed over the next few games simply due to numbers, although it surely can’t be long before he permanently leaves Celtic.
The January transfer window is just around the corner, presenting the ideal opportunity for the club and Palma to find the best solution to his current predicament: a due departure.
