CELTIC STAR Jota has reacted to what is widely regarded as Henrik Larsson’s best goal in the green and white Hoops.
The Portuguese winger was watching the footage, giving his reaction to Celtic’s TikTok page, and admitted he hadn’t saw the chip against Rangers before.
The 6-2 demolition derby of 2000 saw Larsson pick up the ball after Sutton knocked it on, beginning a marvellous run, riding a few challenges from the Rangers’ defence, nutmegging a player and dinking it over Klos between the sticks.
It really was sensational!
Looking at the old clip, Jota labelled the king of kings “the main man” before admitting he hadn’t seen the goal before, showing he was impressed with the strike.

Hopefully, the clip will play a few times in Jota’s mind, and fans will see this goal recreated in just over a week.
Jota has already made an impact with a chip in a Glasgow Derby, in a goal that has admittedly gone under the radar in Celtic’s 4-0 win at the start of the season. He’ll be looking to influence another result which will see Celtic all but wrap up the league title.
