Celtic have confirmed their starting XI for this afternoon’s crucial trip to McDiarmid Park, with Brendan Rodgers naming a strong side as the Hoops look to move one step closer to the Premiership title.
Auston Trusty returns to the heart of defence alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers after a spell out through injury, while Daizen Maeda is handed the central striking role as expected. Viljami Sinisalo continues in goal after his clean sheet against Hearts last weekend.
Jeffrey Schlupp retains his place at left-back, with Greg Taylor named among the substitutes as he sees out the final stretch of his time as a Celtic player.
In midfield, Callum McGregor captains the side and is joined by Reo Hatate and Arne Engels. Nicolas Kühn and Jota provide the attacking width, flanking Maeda in the final third.
It’s a big day where Celtic see themselves turning into the homestretch.
