‘One of the worst things I’ve seen’ – Ex-Celt Reacts to Disappointing Celtic News

Former Celtic player and social media man Tony Watt has taken to social media to brand the SFA’s decision to ban Ryan Christie over grabbing Morelos during the Glasgow Derby.

Out of all the things that happened in the Glasgow Derby, it was quite astonishing a Celtic player was pulled up for retrospective action.

The fast track hearing at Hampden found Ryan Christie guilty of the charge and will now serve a ban.

With no hint of acknowledging the fact the player had been on the receiving end of such a grab by Alfredo Morelos during a previous encounter. The SFA choosing not to cite Alfredo Morelos in that instance but had no problem citing then suspending Christie.

Tony Watt couldn’t believe it.

Celtic have released a statement about the decision and told supporters they will be writing to the SFA about their inconsistency.
