Brendan Rodgers has discussed his views on what has been a special year for the Irishman at Celtic.
With Celtic going a full year unbeaten at home in all competitions, Rodgers revealed just where the year ranks among his impressive career as a manager in England and Scotland.
He said: (Clyde 1 Superscoreboard), “I thought last season was one of the best coaching seasons of my career, in terms of coming in and what I was coming into. This season has just been a joy to work with the players, seeing them evolve and develop, and how I want them to work.
“Over the course of the year, I saw some statistics yesterday that people were trying to show me. From that aspect, it’s mightily impressive.
“We’ve still got to sustain it, and we still have to keep working. We’re not even at the halfway point; there’s still such a long way to go for us, but I’m just so pleased with what 2024 has brought us.”

It’s certainly great to hear what Rodgers thinks about 2024 as a year at Celtic.
He usually waits until success is achieved before discussing his thoughts so openly, which highlights his intelligence in waiting for the right time to treat the media to ‘Box Office Brendan,’ as he has been dubbed over the last year.
