CELTIC are set to see more upheaval behind the scenes in the coming days as three men exit their positions at the club.
Reported first by Football Insider, Chief Scout Gary Penrice alongside Mick Doherty and John Murphy will leave the club as they get ready for a new era.
Dominic McKay is now in the door and will go about making moves to clear the decks for a new regime. It’s a case of one in, three out.
Penrice was brought in by Hammond a year ago to oversee scouting which was a position previously held by Lee Congerton.
Doherty and Murphy are lower-level scouts who will reportedly move on so a new set up can take their place.
The recruitment has been abysmal from the club over a long stretch of time and has played a major part in this season’s implosion.
Our loan signings have been abysmal along with the signing of Vasilios Barkas which right now looks like an absolute disaster.
Celtic will finish this season without any trophy for the first time since the 09/10 season. It’s time to get our act together and fast.
