Ange Postecoglou has officially been announced as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the Tottenham Hotspur official website, Postecoglou will be signing a four-year contract with the London club and will officially commence his role on the 1st of July.
While the statement did not mention John Kennedy or Gavin Strachan, who have been speculated to potentially join Postecoglou at Spurs, the club has stated that they will announce Postecoglou’s coaching staff ‘in due course’.
It’s believed that Celtic are keen to keep Kennedy in Glasgow, despite Postecoglou’s best efforts.
Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy, expressed his excitement about Postecoglou’s appointment, praising his positive mentality, fast, attacking style of play, and his track record of developing players. Levy said: [Spurs’ official website]

He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy – everything that is important to our Club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.”
The club now faces the challenging task of finding a replacement for a manager who brought immense joy to the Celtic family.
A shortlist has been drawn up, and Celtic will look to make the right appointment swiftly.
Celtic fans bid farewell to Ange Postecoglou, who took over a club in a state of disarray and leaves them as the Treble-winning Champions of Scotland. He’s left them in a very good place, and the job is attractive for nearly any manager.
