FORMER Celtic POTY Stefan Johansen has put his side on the brink of promotion after his goal fired Fulham to second spot in the Championship.

In a league where promotion is won by fine margins, it was the former Celtic midfielder’s attitude and willingness to get forward which got the all important goal against Reading.

Fulham fans spoke after the match of the Norweigan running himself into the ground for the cause last night and were proud of his efforts.

This will come as a shock to many who watched Johansen in his last season at Celtic but it’s reminiscent of his first full season in the hoops where he won his player of the year gong and regularly put on a midfield masterclass.
