On-loan Celt Under Fire

He may only be five games into his loan spell with Plymouth Argyle, but Nadir Ciftci just can’t catch a break.

The former Celtic number seven has been loaned out to Plymouth Argyle after he was deemed surplus to requirements by Brendan Rodgers.

However, the player is yet to score in five games, and the increasingly rapid decline of his performances for the English outfit have their fans concerned Derek Adams has borrowed a ‘dud.’

According to the Plymouth Herald Nadir has fallen away in the last few games which seen the Turk substituted with around 30 minutes still to go.

While there is still time for the striker to try and resurrect his career, Nadir is now fighting an uphill battle to win over the Plymouth fans who would like to see him shipped back to Celtic as soon as possible.

It’s safe to say that we won’t see the player in a Celtic jersey again.
