Celtic loan bhoy Jonathan Afalobi scored the winner for Dundee against Morton in the Championship on Saturday; grabbing the first three points of the season. The game finished 1-0 with Jonathan getting the goal in the first five minutes.

They’re only two games deep into the bee season but Jonathan already looks like he’s playing with a point to prove.

The on-loan striker is at Dundee for the entire season and is hoping to send the club back to the Premier League.

It won’t be easy with a well funded Hearts side at the top of the table right now.

Jonathan came into Celtic last season but his development has been non-existent due to Celtic’s reserve and developmental system lacking meaningful game.

The player spent two months at Dunfermline before the shut down and wasn’t part of Celtic’s pre-season squad. A loan move to Dundee is the perfect opportunity to get among the goals and prepare the Irishman for a tilt at the Celtic team next year.
