Olivier Ntcham Injury Update

Neil Lennon has provided an update on his squad ahead of the Glasgow Derby on Sunday and the Irishman has revealed he’s got a variety of options for the trip to Ibrox.

The bhoys are thirteen points clear at the top of the SPFL table and could put the title beyond all doubt with a win on Sunday.

The Celtic manager is delighted to see his squad in a good place. The only one big concern going into the game is the status of Olivier Ntcham.

The Frenchman has been out since the away leg against Copenhagen. Before that, Oli had become an integral part of Celtic’s midfield and many bemoaned his absence the last Glasgow Derby in December.

Speaking to the Celtic View, Neil Lennon have an update on his team and more importantly, Oli’s Glasgow Derby status.

“We’ve got players returning now and the squad is looking good,” said Neil Lennon. “Tom Rogic is playing well and Ryan Christie is back so we have a good complement of players on great form.

“It was good to have Hatem make his return too. I’m delighted to see him back. He got a nice ovation when he came on and contributed to the penalty. It’s been a long time for him and to get some minutes on the pitch was good for him.

“We’re hoping Olivier Ntcham will have trained earlier this week, so hopefully he’ll be fit and available for the weekend.”

There are plenty of options if Olivier doesn’t make it. However, bringing the midfielder back into the fold could be Celtic’s ace in the hole.
