OLIVER BURKE has flown out to Dubai and is now with the Celtic squad as they get put through their paces during the winter shutdown.

It was only last week when reports came through that Celtic were interested in the West Brom midfielder. The deal happened pretty quickly after that and Burke was a Celtic player by the weekend. Coming in on loan from West Brom, the midfielder has the second half of the season to impress and make a name for himself in a Hoops jersey and he can’t wait to get going!

Burke told CelticTV he knew of Celtic’s interest quite early on and Brendan Rodgers personally put a phone call into the midfielder about coming to the club.

The West Brom Midfielder has admitted one of the key reasons he has come to the club is to train and develop under the Irishman who has a great reputation at bringing on young stars.
