Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu scored twice in his side’s 4-1 thumping of Hibernian on Wednesday. The 22-year-old grasped his opportunity in the bhoys’ starting eleven.
He ended up being named man-of-the-match and after the game, Oh said that he treats every appearance like his last. He said (Glasgow Times): “I don’t get that many opportunities to start, but whenever they come I play like it’s my last game. If I do what the manager asks and if I do my best, the goals tend to follow.”

Midweek, the goals certainly flowed for Oh. He will be aiming to carry such form into Sunday’s match against Kilmarnock, but he admitted that as much as doing well in games counts, so too does training. He said: “Every training session feels like a competition, but the manager and coaching staff all help me with lots of advice.”
In terms of training, Brendan Rodgers has emphasised the importance of it in recent weeks. Whoever does well in it tends to get minutes and as of now, Oh is undoubtedly doing just that.
