Oh Pays ‘Proud’ Tribute to Celtic Star

Former Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-Gyu has paid a classy tribute to his former teammate and fellow countryman, Yang Hyun-jun, highlighting the winger’s growth and impressive performances this season.

Oh, who left Celtic in the summer for Genk, lived with Yang during their time together at the Hoops and has closely followed the 22-year-old’s development since his departure.

Yang’s time at Celtic hasn’t always been straightforward, but he has gradually found his feet, showing his potential with some standout performances, including a brilliant brace off the bench against St. Mirren at the SMISA Stadium last month. The South Korean winger has looked like a completely different player in recent months, adding consistency and end product to his game.

Despite the challenges, Yang’s determination to earn his chance has really stood out, and his recent performances show just how talented he is.
