Oh Makes South Korea Appearance

Celtic Striker Oh Hyun-gyu played half an hour for South Korea on Friday afternoon, coming on as a substitute in the 60th minute.

South Korea played out a 2-2 draw with Colombia on the day and while Oh couldn’t effect the game in the way he would’ve liked, it’s more international minutes under his belt.

The Hoops striker scored an vital goal against Hibernian for Celtic before the international break. Coming on as a sub and planting his head on the end of a David Turnbull corner. It kept up the Hoops winning streak and put them closer to a second title in a row.

Oh joined in January to replace Giorgos Giakoumakis who moved to the MLS.

The striker has been making appearances from the bench and has managed three goals so far in his Celtic career. The player has also won a League cup winners medal.

Oh is still very young and the best years of his club and international career are ahead of him.
