UEFA have highlighted a special Europa League moment at Celtic Park this Friday morning by posting the video of Callum McGregor sending the Celtic support into raptures, scoring a late goal against Zenit St Petersburg in the last 32 of the competition.
The official social media account posted the moment McGregor found the back of the net after on-loan bhoy Charly Musonda set the stage.
It would be Charly’s only memorable contribution to the team, his loan spell cut short after six months after failing to make an impact.

It’s already been three years since this happened.
What a finish by McGregor!
Celtic would eventually be knocked out in the away leg. A then of Peter Lawwell’s tenure was the team being unable to win a knockout tie beyond the group stage of both the Champions League and Europa League.
Had Brendan Rodgers been more pragmatic in his approach to Europe, they could have made more progress during his time.
