Odsonne Edouard Receives Praise From The Most Unlikely Source

There was an explosion of Celtic news last night after Celtic recorded a 1-1 draw against CFR Cluj in Romania.

That explosion of news was of course primarily focused on the pending exit of Kieran Tierney from Celtic. There was also news that Scott Sinclair had been left behind in Glasgow and looks set to leave Paradise today before the English deadline kicks in.

With all that hectic and frantic news it was easy to skim over the fact that the leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, had been invited to the game by Celtic fans after a chance meeting on a flight. As an Irishman, I won’t pretend to know the ins and outs of British politics but his invitation to the game was met with a mixed reaction from fans.

It was the famous “Paul The Tim” who first posted pictures with the politician from Romania before Corbyn took to his own Twitter account.

Corbyn is ironically an Arsenal supporter who look set to steal one of Celtic’s favourite sons. Kieran Tierney is expected to be announced as an Arsenal player today as the English transfer window slams shut at 5 pm today.
