Odsonne Edouard has hit back at pre-season suggestions he wasn’t interested after RecordSport published an article claiming Frank McAvennie says the striker looked uninterested in the lead up to the season.
The Frenchman scored a hat-trick for the team today as they smashed Hamilton 5-1. Eddy was instrumental and on point. It’s almost as if pre-season is for getting your fitness right and the results don’t matter as much.

After the game, Edouard has hit out on social media, mocking the claim.

Celtic fans have been piling in on the tweet, backing the striker up and asking him nicely and not so nicely to sign a contract.
Eddy has always had a cool and calm demeanour and he seems to attract attention seeking ex-pros who don’t like his body language. His record speaks for itself on the field for Celtic!
There is still trepidation the frontman could leave before the window closes. Celtic fans are holding their breath because despite criticism, he is the best player at Celtic.
