In recent weeks there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the future of Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
The Frenchman has been subject to interest from Leicester City and former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers with both the club and the Foxes holding talks over a possible move.
This afternoon, reliable and well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano gave an update on the future of the 24-year old, revealing that a deal is still to be agreed.
To be clear. Leicester are working to complete Patson Daka deal after official bid made to Salzburg – NOT Edouard, they’ve been negotiating for the Celtic striker but no agreement.

Leicester looks to be well down the line with their transfer business, coming close to agreeing on a move for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare and RB Salzburg’s Patson Daka.
However, they haven’t got quite that far in getting the Edouard deal over the line.
It appears that negotiations between the two sides continue, but they are still to agree on a fee for the player to complete his move to the English Premier League side.
Edouard has been a key player for the Hoops over the last couple of seasons. But with his contract coming down to one year remaining this summer, most feel it is the right time to move on.
It is also important that the club hold out for the fee that we feel is deserved for a player of Edouard’s quality. Especially with the money from the transfer deal adding more funds for the rebuild that is needed within the squad this summer.
