BRENDAN RODGERS confirmed on Monday afternoon something that many fans had been puzzled about; the whereabouts of Odin Holm from the Celtic squad.
The player isn’t established at this point, but he’s been on the bench more often than not until the last couple of games.
When Rodgers has given updates over the last couple of weeks on his players and their fitness, Odin’s name hadn’t come up, leaving many fans to speculate he wasn’t making the matchday squad.
However, Rodgers cleared things up during his Celtic Youtube press conference and revealed the player has been out with injury, although the Irishman didn’t specify what type of injury the young midfielder was carrying.

I think fans want to see Odin, Bernardo, Turnbull and Iwata really push themselves as one of them looks to establish themselves in the team while Reo Hatate is out injured. The Japanese midfielder is not due back until the new year after tearing his hamstring. It presents an opportunity for Holm and others to really showcase what they can do.
Rodgers has confirmed Holm will be in the squad on Wednesday against St Mirren, the youngster is unlikely to start given he’s just back from an injury.
Odin has made 6 appearances for the Scottish Champions so far; five from the bench and one start in the league Cup.
