Speculation over a permanent move to Celtic for Adam Idah this summer is failing to go away.

The Irish striker’s impact in the second half of last season was as great as it was unexpected.
He played 19 times for the Hoops in all competitions, scoring nine goals and assisting two. Idah continually turned up in the big games and came up with several memorable moments in green and white.
The champions’ desire to bring him back to the club this summer is coherent, and it seems as though the player wants the move, too.
The only stumbling block currently lying in the way is Norwich. The Canaries appointed Johannes Hoff Thorup as their new manager a few weeks ago, and he will likely want a look at Idah in pre-season.
Indeed, the club’s sporting director Ben Knapper spoke out on the 23-year-old, singing his praises.
“He’s a fantastic player, and in winter he had one of the best goals per minute ratios in Europe”, he said (The Scottish Sun).
“He’s a proven goalscorer at Championship level and did very well at Celtic.
“He’s a full international who’s home grown and has come through the system.
“He’s exactly the type of player who excites me.”
If the desire is there from both Idah and Celtic to do a deal, then it will be difficult for the English Championship outfit to keep hold of him, as much as they may want to.
